Larry G. McGuire, CFA

Mr. McGuire is owner and Chief Executive Officer of Red Rock Capital Advisors, LLC, a Capital Advisory, Investment Advisory and Financial Consulting firm.  In addition to advising clients in the arena of business formations and the capital raising process, Mr. McGuire serves as Chief Investment Officer.  In this role, he provides portfolio management, financial consultation, and advisory and investment management services to high net worth clients.  Specifically, he constructs and manages investment portfolios designed to achieve client goals and objectives.

His entire career has been spent in the public equity markets arena. Over the past several years, Mr. McGuire has focused his experience on the creation and preservation of wealth for equity and fixed income clients. He has broad experience in the area of equity capital markets, having worked closely with CEOs, advising them on how to best structure, distribute size and price capital offerings. Prior to his Capital Markets experience, Mr. McGuire spent over 10 years in investment analysis and research. He began his career as a research analyst providing in-depth institutionally oriented research of regionally based companies in the banking, real estate, restaurant, specialty retailing and special situation industries. As Director of Equity Research, Mr. McGuire established overall investment philosophy for his firm and actively managed pension and profit sharing portfolios.

Mr. McGuire received a BBA degree with a major in Corporate Finance from Memphis State University and an MBA degree from New York University with a major in Investment Analysis and Corporate Finance. Follow on studies resulted in the award of the coveted Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

In addition to his professional obligations, Mr. McGuire has served as a member of the board of directors of Cornerstone Villa, the Greyhound Bus Museum, Northland Ventures, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts. Mr. McGuire has served for numerous years as a Hibbing Public Utilities commissioner.

With his leisure time, Mr. McGuire enjoys flying, boating, kayaking, golf, travel and reading.
